Giant Colocasia in a Container

 

 

The giant elephant ear, Colocasia gigantea is the center piece for this pot. Surrounding it are the purple foliage of the purple heart wandering Jew, Setcreasea pallida; and the golden foliage of the coleus, Solenostemon 'The Line'. In the back of the container grows the purple flowering balloon flower, Platycodon_grandiflorus; and at the base grows the tiny foliage of baby tears, Soleirolia soleirolii.
