Goddess Liqueur Recipe
by Debbie Teashon
This one I made up the recipe one day while shopping and made a batch for the holidays. A fruity taste fit for royalty, it has citrus flavor with undertones of licorice and pomegranate.
1 fifth 80 proof gin
Zest of 3 organic oranges
Pomegranate seeds from 1 fruit
¼ cup crushed anise seed
pinch of sea salt
1 cup of honey
Place all ingredients in a jar, and stir to moisten everything. Seal and allow infusing for 3-5 days. When the liqueur has a strong citrus flavor or smell, it is ready. Drain the liquid naturally without pushing on the ingredients. Bottle the liqueur and seal.
Store in a cool, dark cabinet for up to 1 year.
Remember! Always drink responsibly!
