GROWING GUIDE

Geographic Origin: Alaska to California.
Plant Group: Perennial herb.
Hardiness: Sunset zones: Not listed. USDA zones: 5-8.
Mature size: Height: 1-2 feet (30-60 cm).
Flowering attributes: Yellow single flowers on leafless stalks.
Leaf attributes: Basal green leaves about 15 inches (40 cm) long.
Light: Full sun but will tolerate light shade.
Soil: Wet, moist soil.

Rainy Side Notes

Most often found in moist meadows, marsh edges and usually not to far from the coast, sandy beaches and dunes; and from low to middle elevations. Can be weedy.
