GROWING GUIDE Geographical Origin:
Northwest Turkey.
Mature size: Height: 24 inches (60 cm). Width: indefinate. Flowering period: Late winter to spring. Flowering attributes: Yellow green bracts on cymes to 7 inches tall. Leaf attributes: Dark green, glossy, leathery leaves. Growth habit Evergreen spreading perennial. Light: Light dappled shade. Soil: Moist, humus rich soil. Propagation Methods: Sow seed when ripe and place in cold frame, or temperatures of 41ºF (5ºC). Germination can be irregular. | Divide early in spring. Pruning Methods: Cut flowering stems down to the ground when flowers fade. Rainy Side NotesI remove wandering stems where not wanted. So far this has been successful in keeping it in bounds. Place where it won't overwhelm smaller perennials. Foliage looks good all year round.
