Rainy Side Notes

A natural hybrid, this wonderful tropical-looking plant is terrific in the woodland garden. For a cut flower this one can be beat. Although the flowers are stunning the smell of carrion becomes quite noticeable when brought into a confined space. It's probably best to enjoy the flower outside. Unless of course, like a fly, you enjoy the smell of carrion in the morning. The flowers are pollinated by flies.

I would grow this plant just for the foliage alone.

More mayapples.
