Winner of the Identify the Flower Contest XIV

The winner for the fourteenth Guess this Flower Contest--April through June 2009--is Matthew Berberich of Port Townsend, Washington. Matthew correctly identified the genus, Dactylorhiza, in the flower guess for May. His name was pulled out of a box full of many other contestants, who correctly identified the flowers from the last three months for the final drawing.

Nobody was able to identify June's flower which was an oregano cultivar. It's a rare event when we can stump our savvy gardeners. Our next contest begins in October 2009.
