I was very disappointed to not get any peas in this spring.
for various reasons.

I'd like to try a fall planting and its getting late again.

I did get a pretty good hoop house up, in which my tomatoes are doing great.

I know peas like warm soil to get started but then grow best in cool weather.
Should I plant them in the hoop house for that warm start and then hope it stays cool enough for them to grow well or should I plant them outside the hoop house because its warm enough? Maybe plant them at the open end of the hoop house? or make rows half in and half out...lol

Any body else growing fall peas?

huh?

I think that September might be a little late for peas (depending on where you live). I would be an interesting experiment though to plant them in the fall under a hoop house and see if they survive the winter to grow again in the spring.I've seen recommended in some growing books.
