Hi, not sure if this is appropriate, but I am looking to purchase a Paper bark Maple this fall, preferably locally (Kitsap County)
Any suggestions?

Definitely appropriate. Have you checked any local nurseries for one? You might be able to have one special ordered for fall.
Valley Nursery told me they are hard to come by, but I think that might not be neccessarily so.

You can look here...

But you may need a landscaper or nursery license to purchase from a lot of those.
I had some customers wait 4 months for a Red Obelisk beech, and they found it on that site, then called me to get them and install.
Some may be retail.

I don't think they are that uncommon. Get on the phone and call around. I know they are available in Snohomish and King counties locally. It is true that most nurseries get their trees in the spring so you may not get the pick of the litter.

Also you want to choose your tree on how the bark peels, some are more appealing (pun intended) than others.
