Southern Europe, North Africa.

USDA zones: 9-10 maybe 8 in protected spot.

Height: 4 feet (1.2 m).
Width: 30 inches (76 cm).
Flowering period:
March through May.
Flowering attributes:
White, honey-scented flowers.
Leaf attributes:
Needle like leaves giving a feathery look to the shrub.
Growth habit:
Upright, dense shrub with a trunk.

Full sun.
Soil:
Well-drained, acidic soil.
Feeding:
During growing season, provide a monthly feeding of a complete organic fertilizer.
Propagation Methods:
Semi-ripe cuttings in late summer.

Lightly trim shoots that spoil symmetry after flowering.

I grow this even though its not reliably hardy. Insurance cuttings are taken in case of a big freeze, or grow in a pot and winter over in cool greenhouse.
