Northwest Flower and Garden Show 2013
It’s California Dreaming, on a February Day
Debbie Teashon
It was a lovely sunny day in the Pacific Northwest both outside and inside the Northwest Flower and Garden Show at the Washington State Convention Center. The garden titled California Dreaming had clean lines, scrumptious tile work and was stuffed to overflowing with plant material.
Even though I was inside today, this garden made me feel warm as a summer’s day in the Northwest. It may say, “California,” but this garden would fit right in with our Northwest Mediterranean climate. The water, the plants, and the inviting deck made me realize how appropriate this garden was, especially on such a beautiful winter’s day.
