Putting it All Together

Gather all your tools and supplies before you begin.
Place your moss in a bucket of warm water and let it soak for 20 minutes. While the moss is soaking, take your globe and cut about a 2½-inch opening with your wire cutters, or slightly bigger than your wide mouth funnel. Use your pliers to tuck the cut wire back into the globe to protect your hands from being poked or scratched while you fill. You still will need to be careful as the cut wire is sharp.
