GROWING GUIDE
Origin:
Garden.
Mature size:
Height: 3-4 feet (1-12 m).
Width: 3 feet (1 m), taller where shrub is hardy.
Flowering period:
Summer.
Flowering attributes:
Panicles carry male flowers at the base and female flowers towards the top. Apetalous flowers, the males have many stamens and branched filaments, while the females have feathery pistils. Flowers are followed by ovoid, spiny fruit.
Leaf attributes:
Alternate, palmately-lobed leaves. New leaves are a shiny bronze red and older leaves are blue-green with pink veins and can measure up to 12 inches in diameter.

Ricinus 'Carmencita Red's stems, flowers and seed pods
echo the color of the flowers of Fuchsia 'Pat's Dream'.
Large leaves with pink veins.
New leaves are bronze-red color.
