Rainy Side Notes
I spotted this handsome coleus leaf in a nursery in Asheville, North Carolina. The leaves were so frilly, I wanted to take one home. However, the hoops I would have needed to jump through to ship it back home were not what I wanted to do. I photographed it and hoped I could find one, once I returned home. Finding a six-pack online, I ordered right away.
This cultivar is considered the best of the Under the Sea™ series, but the others are tempting to try in the future. Students in a Canadian school project developed the series—a portion of all sales supports the school's program. Win!
