Rainy Side Notes
Drought tolerant, Arabis procurrens ‘Variegata’ dresses up a rock wall in my garden. The ground cover is handsome year round with variegated, evergreen foliage. The racemes of white flowers stand well above the foliage and when placed against a dark background, this little plant is a knockout. It thrives in many kinds of soil as long as it is well-drained, which makes it a choice plant for difficult areas where other plants will not grow. I planted the Arabis on top of basalt rock walls, where it grows very well.
