A & D Peony and Perennial Nursery
SNOHOMISH — A & D Nursery has been growing a reputation for quality plants and excellent service since the early seventies. Their goal has been to bring a breathtaking array of peonies and tree peonies to the area and to provide visitors a place for delightful discovery.
ALLYN — Located just outside of Allyn in Mason County, AG3 Garden Center is one of the largest and most complete nurseries on the Kitsap Peninsula. A friendly atmosphere and helpful, knowledgeable staff await you as you browse through the greenhouses and displays.
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND — A family-owned garden center located on a historic site on beautiful Bainbridge Island. This six-acre nursery is well-stocked with large trees, native plants, unusual varieties of shrubs, bonsai, seasonal color, pots and garden art. An on-site cafe open for espresso and lunch, children's play area, plenty of parking and an extensive gift shop make Bainbridge Gardens a popular spot for Islanders and out-of-town guests.
SEATTLE — Hardy Bamboo Plants - both running and clumping varieties - plus other bamboo-related supplies. By appointment only. Visits are scheduled on weekends 9am to 4pm, weekdays 9am to 4pm.
Bassetti's Crooked Arbor Nursery
WOODINVILLE — Bassetti’s Crooked Arbor Gardens has been a nursery and display garden since 1983. The retail nursery specializes in dwarf conifers, alpine plants, container plants and trees. The gift shop sells wonderful and creative garden items including ceramics by local artists, garden aprons, tools, handwrought plant hangers, water features, glass, mosaic and stone sculptures, carved walking sticks, garden jewelry, and hand made plant pots.
PT. TOWNSEND — B&D Lilies’ bulbs are AMERICAN-GROWN in the Pacific Northwest, which allows firm, mature bulbs to be harvested in time for safe delivery to you FALL through SPRING to any mailing address in the lower 48 states and Alaska. Advantages include: fresher bulbs on a natural cycle, better root systems and taller stems (usually with many more flowers the first year).
ROCKPORT — Devoting more time to building the selection of nursery plants and specialize in hardy bamboo, they also offer an eclectic selection of native plants and permaculture or multipurpose landscape plants. These are largely grown with organic methods, although they do use slow release commercial fertilizer for their potted plants.
DUVALL — The nursery, begun in 1998, has a few special interest categories resulting from the owners' passions, such as an extensive collection of bamboo, over sixty cultivars of daylilies, and twenty-seven varieties of boxwood. Plus, every spring about two hundred perennials, selected from the best hybrids available, are offered. Research includes everything from trips to the Chelsea Flower Show in London, to scouring the Encyclopedia Botanica and talking to local growers. This selection is what makes Boxhill quirky and fun--visitors should see things they never do, growing in large plantings, in different seasons, and have confidence that a supporting cast of plants can be found here as well.

Bremerton — Bremerton City Nursery is a garden oasis in the center of Kitsap County. Visitors come from Gig Harbor, Port Orchard, Poulsbo, and of course, Bremerton. They carry a large and varied assortment of annuals, perennials, shrubs, Japanese Maples, small trees, and collectible conifers. They believe that gardening should be accessible to everyone, even city-dwelling urbanites. ONALASKA — Burnt Ridge Nursery and Orchards is a family-owned farm, in business since 1980. The 20-acre farm is located in the foothills of the Cascade mountains with a beautiful view of Mount St. Helens. Their mail order nursery specializes in unusual and disease resistant trees, vines, and shrubs that produce edible nuts or fruits.

Chimacum Woods A Rhododendron Nursery
PT. LUDLOW — Robert (Bob) Zimmermann fell in love with rhododendrons over thirty years ago. He began cultivating them on his kitchen stove and now grows species rhododendrons in his greenhouse on the Olympic Peninsula. Although hybrids offer fascinating and beautiful plants, the rhododendron species are Bob's primary interest. Some 300 species populate the collection in his garden, providing a reliable source of seed and cuttings. He has paid particular attention to collecting plants true to the species description.
MT. VERNON — The nursery was established in 1946 on the historic Jennings' farm in Skagit Valley. Their nursery is open year round, offering a wide variety of plants, accessories, gifts, classes, and services. Their web site provides you with an introduction to what's available. You're also invited to pack a lunch and have a picnic on the grounds of the schoolhouse. If you have any special requests send them an email.
EVERSON — Cloud Mountain Farm Center, propagates and grows top quality fruit trees, nut trees, berry plants, and ornamental landscape trees and plants. You will find a large variety of dwarf conifers and Japanese maples among their offerings. They also carry hard-to-find orchard and garden supplies, quality tools, and kitchen tools. They can custom propagate and grow plants for those who need large quantities of a particular plant, grape vines for a small vineyard, or for hard-to-find or heirloom fruit trees. We ship plants from early February through May, and again September and October, but you can order anytime.
BATTLE GROUND — Collector’s Nursery is a small specialty mail order nursery in the southwest corner of Washington state, with an ever changing palette of interesting plants and particularly fond of unusual shade plants, like Epimedium, Erythronium, Hepatica, Polygonatum (Solomon Seal) and similar shade lovers.
WHIDBY ISLAND — Cultus Bay Nursery carries perennials, herbs and vines, shrubs and trees, and one of a kind gifts.
VASHON ISLAND — Dig seeks out many of the latest varieties of all the hot new plants. Restios, Grevilleas, Correas, Astelia, Tetrapanax—to name a few. Their aim; however, is not to have just the newest, but to be mindful of texture, architecture, color and how these plants will perform within the landscape.
SEATTLE — Inside: beautiful houseplants for almost any indoor space, as well as seeds, bulbs, fertilizers, bulk soil amendments, small tools, containers, garden art and more. The front courtyard features seasonal color, herbs year-round, scented geraniums, vegetable starts in spring, summer and fall, including an amazing heirloom tomato collection that arrives about mid-April. Dozens of varieties of coleus, one of their specialties, are usually available by Mothers Day.
GOLDBAR — If you love ferns you will drool over this site! Tree ferns, desert ferns, woodland, border and rock garden ferns -- if you are looking for Deb you will find her over at this site.
PT. TOWNSEND — They propagate and grow most of their plants themselves which allows them to grow many more impractical species than we should. Many times people shy away from a rare plant thinking it is hard to grow, but more often, it is difficulty of propagation or simply not fitting into a standard nursery routine that makes a plant rare in commerce. Now doing mail order.
RAINIER — Specializing in Rhododendrons, Azaleas & Perennials.
Arlington — Fruitful Farm is a family owned, beyond organic, diversified nursery & farm nestled in the beautiful foothills of Washington’s Stillaguamish Valley. Their colorful nursery of vibrant hanging flower baskets, annuals, perennials, rare ornamental shrubs, trees and dwarf evergreen conifers complete a refreshing oasis that delights the eyes and inspires the soul. Artistic container gardening is one of their favorite specialties. Bring your containers and planters and they will be glad to help you select the perfect varieties for your own planters to bring cheerful color and beauty to any porch, patio or deck.
LUMMI ISLAND — Full Bloom Farm is located on Lummi Island, near Bellingham, Washington. It is owned and run by Elisabeth and Mark Marshall, who have lived on the island for 21 years. The 14 acre farm includes a pond, an orchard, a flock of chickens for fresh eggs and a vegetable garden. It's a short walk to the beach and is a birdwatcher's paradise. The award-winning gardens are open to the public every Memorial Day weekend during the Lummi Island Artists Studio Tour, throughout the blooming season — early May through the end of June.
EVERETT — Hima Nursery specializes in large specimen-quality trees, and container trees, shrubs, and ground cover, including many plants native to the Pacific Northwest. The large specimen trees are a diverse bunch from flowering cherries, flowering crabapples, magnolias, and several types of evergreen trees to Henry maples, black walnuts, and multi-trunk Japanese Snowbells. Visits to the nursery are by appointment only Monday through Friday.
WHIDBY ISLAND — Color, fragrance, form, texture and vigor are their criteria in picking favorite plants. They grow new and unusual varieties from seeds, cuttings, and divisions obtained from their extensive plant collections, and enjoy sharing them with their customers.
Perennials - (their specialty) an extensive collection of popular and unusual varieties, plus many rare treasures and unusual colors.
Elma — A full service nursery with a country flair. Relax while strolling through their display gardens, watch the finches in the aviary, dream of fishing for Koi in our pond or look at all the unusual varieties of plants they have to offer. Nestled on a hilltop, above the Satsop River, you will enjoy the tranquil sounds of the country while shopping. We strive to provide a clean, accessable shopping area and knowledgable staff.
STANWOOD — The name Keeping It Green Nursery, Hardy Orchids and Woodland Perennials was inspired by the idea to not only supply plant enthusiasts with garden worthy plants, but also to revitalize developed land. The nursery is constantly researching underutilized or largely undiscovered plants to bring them into the garden setting. Plants sold by the nursery are grown from seeds, spores or are divisions of nursery stock.
Keeping It Green Nursery specializes in Hardy Orchids, Woodland Perennials, Hardy Ferns, and Hard to find North American Native plants. The nursery carries many rare and hard to find collectors plants including species and hybrids of Bletilla, Calanthe, Cypripedium, Dactylorhiza, Epipactis, Orchis and many more.

BONNEY LAKE — Welcome to Lake Tapps Rhododendron. Located in the foothills of Mt. Rainier and nestled in 3 acres of fir trees, they offer one of the biggest selections of species and hybrid rhododendrons in the Pacific Northwest. They have over 30% of available species and hundreds of hybrids available for purchase.
Minters Earlington Greenhouse & Nursery

WOODLAND — They sell Northwest native perennials, shrubs and trees for woodland, shade & rock gardens, ponds, bird & butterfly gardens, and restoration projects.
MONROE — A wide selection of products to create and embellish your indoor and outdoor living areas. From the foundations of quality bulk materials of topsoil, compost, and bark, to the trees, plants, shrubs and flowers that create a space that brings beauty and tranquility to your surroundings.
MORTON — A great source for edible trees, shrubs, vines, and perennial plants. Many selected for our maritime climate and disease resistance. If you are building an edible garden their catalog is a must!
SEATTLE — They offer unique products for the garden and home, catering to gardeners in the Pacific Northwest. At their store in University Village in Seattle, you will find an abundance of products to inspire you to personalize your outdoor space, and to creatively bring the outdoors inside.
Poulsbo — Roadhouse Nursery was opened September 1985 as the family business of Jan and George Bahr. Specializing in pond plants and supplies, they also carry a wide range of nursery products: ornamental and fruit trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials. Over the last few years we have gained quite a reputation for the quality and value of our hanging baskets. Bring us your empty basket by April 1st and we will fill it with plants and have it ready to pick up in mid-May. Or stop by the nursery and select from our wide variety of ready-made baskets.
Russell Water Gardens and Nursery
REDMOND — A great source for the "Do-it-Yourself" water garden projects. I especially like that they tell you up front how much money a month their pumps will cost to operate. (Did I hear electric bill?)
Kingston — Savage Plants is a unique retail nursery located on the Kitsap Peninsula in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. The owner, James Savage, has been landscaping homes for more than thirty-five years. He opened Savage Plants in 1992, and has since turned it into a successful family-run nursery that bears the mark of his distinctive landscape style. The nursery blends the classic with the contemporary, the Northwest with the European. They have a wonderful melting pot of different plants and products to cater to their customers’ many individual garden styles.
SEQUIM — Special interests of ours that you can expect to see increase are: evergreen perennials, fragrant plants, winter flowers, kniphofias, ornamental grasses, plants with foliage colored other than green, such as dark leaved plants and variegated plants, and ....things that go “bump” in the night.
SEATTLE — Founded in 1953, Sky Nursery has served generations of gardeners in the Shoreline and Seattle communities. Today Sky Nursery is recognized as the "Gardener's Garden Store" throughout the region. Customers love them for their quality plant material and garden supplies and a staff of friendly gardeners.
You'll find, in addition to nursery stock, seeds, bulbs, houseplants, tools, ponds and pumps, fountains, books, fertilizers, and a variety of bulk materials. You can pick up your plants and bulk materials or have them delivered.
MARYSVILLE — I can remember when the Plant Farm began in 1994, they only had one greenhouse, some great ideas and a lot of optimism. They have come a long ways since then. I don't get there too often as we live far away but when in the area I like to stop by.
Today, their beautiful 6.5-acre retail nursery offers a fabulous selection of annuals, perennials, groundcovers, conifers, hedging plants, deciduous trees, evergreen shrubs and deciduous shrubs. In season, they offer a wide variety of roses and fruiting trees and shrubs.
LAKEBAY — Sunnycrest is a year-round garden center and nursery with the quality plants and garden supplies to make the most of your gardening - indoors and out, spring, summer, winter, and fall.
MARYSVILLE — Sunnyside Nursery, established 1948 and located in Marysville, Washington is a local retail nursery that provides all of your gardening needs, from soils, fertilizers, pesticides, tools, pottery, arbors and trellises, to a fantastic selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees.
SEATTLE — A garden center with five acres of parklike displays featuring the region's best selection of perennials, herbs, trees and shrubs ranging from the common to the unusual.
WOODINVILLE — Tadpole Haven features plant material native to lowland Western Washington, helping satisfy the increasing need for native flora suitable for landscapes, restoration projects and retail sale. Tsugawa Nursery and Landscaping
WOODLAND — Tsugawa Nursery has grown and become well established as the area's best place to shop for garden and landscape plants and supplies. Tsugawa's is the Northwest headquarters for the largest selection and best variety in fruit trees, bonsai, and Japanese maples, as well as pond plants and supplies. We pride ourselves in finding unique and hard to find plant material.
POULSBO — Valley Nursery is located in northern Kitsap County just north of Poulsbo. It's six full acres of stock and supplies are among the largest and most complete in the area. Valley Nursery specializes in plants that really grow well in the Northwest, not just carrying them because it's popular to do so. By offering great customer service, a wonderful selection of plants and displayed in a pleasant setting, Valley Nursery has grown into a fine retail establishment.
With its acreage filled with plants and supplies, you have a great chance of finding what you are looking for. Some of the specialties include Dwarf and Unusual Conifers, Roses for Northwest gardens, Rhododendrons, Tree and Small Fruits, as well as a huge selection of Annuals and Perennials in season. If you are building a pond or stocking an existing one, Valley Nursery has a complete Water Garden section. Also, cut and living Christmas Trees are available during the holidays.

PUYALLUP — Watson's grows the majority of the annual plants, planters and hanging baskets they sell. Watson's is always striving to offer the best quality plant material and customer service possible. They also offer an extended gift line, garden art and additional gardening products and plants.
BRINNON — Since 1955 they have helped thousands of people select the flowers, plants, trees and shrubs that grow into magnificent gardens. Whitney Gardens is adjacent to the Dosewallips River where it fans out into the glacially-formed Hood Canal. Visit their beautiful gardens too.
FERNDALE — Specializing in ornamental grasses. They have grasses that can fill a variety of landscaping needs by adding color, texture, movement and sound to the garden. With the outlook of a dry summer, the drought tolerance of grasses will be an extra benefit. Their plant list is impressive. Since they are mainly wholesale you will need to make an appointment.
Gig Harbor — Woodbrook Native Plant Nursery has very knowledgeable plant people on staff. They look forward to working with you on something as small as one native addition to your yard to a whole yard redo. They have been growing Pacific NW Natives since the early 1990's and know their plants!
MONROE — A wholesale nursery which also sells to the retail public. Located on 25 acres just outside of Monroe, Washington, USA. They have over 500 different types of plants and trees available in our eight acre public display area. They have a wide selection of plants and trees on-site and are northwest specialists in Japanese Maples, Rhododendrons and Native Plant varieties.
